I originally ordered these for regular 16 oz Solo Jars but the lid didn't hold up as it was too big. I've even tried regular 18oz and 24oz mugs with the same results. I later found that they are perfect for 18oz Solo Squared Cups. So now I choose these cups because I know these lids fit perfectly and I don't have any more problems. These lids also come at a great price.

Not suitable for single square bottom mugs. A little too small. Can't get her fit. I really don't want to go to the UPS store, expose myself to the virus, to return this. Oops! Really perfect. Apparently, if you press hard, break enough, then it fits! So much so that you can lift a full cup by the edges of the lid. Should change my rating. I don't drink big gulps, fizzy fast food drinks, Starbucks, I'm not used to cups with lids. Not likely to spill if you hit the ground.

They don't fit in the traditional 16oz red cups we're used to using and seeing. They work with smaller red cups (we adapted them to cups with ribs, had to compress them for those kids' morning smoothies). I carefully read the description and bought it, but it didn't fit. Now we're out of little red cups and can't even remember where we got them from - it was a mistake. So there are 16 ounce lids and red cups that cannot be used. But if they fit, they work!
