Terrible product in accessories and consumables

As mentioned before, this product is terrible. Very unstable. With 4 outputs I could never get it to stop blinking. Very disappointed and a big waste of time. Do not buy.

Pros
  • Satellite TV
Cons
  • Doubtful purchase for the elderly

After running 7 cables from this box to different 4K.

After running 7 cables from this box to various 4K HDR TVs, I found that they don't really pass through HDR10 or Dolby Vision. I connected the source, a Sony X800 4K player, directly to each model and the player actually sends HDR10 format and the splitter was just the bottleneck. However, it sent an HDR signal via HDR Blu-ray playback, so TVs defaulted to that color space (BT.2020), but it attempted to extend the DCIP3 color space, which actually hit HDR and the hues at the ad left everyone in

Pros
  • splitter
Cons
  • bits and pieces

We have been using Sewell products for a long time and have always been very happy with them. In general, the only real weakness of Sewell's HDMI splitters is that the output connectors are a little underpowered, causing longer runs to flicker from time to time, but this is a common problem with most, if not all, splitters . We had high hopes for this 4K splitter as it seems to be the best Full QHD splitter out there right now, but after using this splitter for less than an hour we discontinued
