I've always been a fan of the Stanley FatMax line of tools. Yes, they're usually a little heavier than many other comparable tools, but they also tend to take a little more abuse. I've been using this chalk line for a few weeks now and haven't had any problems so far. The rope and hook are very strong and seem to last a long time. The box is easy to fill (you can fill it two ways), has a clear plastic sliding window or you can unscrew the lid, and holds plenty of chalk. I also love that the hook on the side of the box "snaps into place" because I know I hate when I reach into my tool bag or belt and the chalk line snags on something.
