Review on Stanley 47-140L FatMax 100-Foot πŸ”§ Chalk Line Reel: Ultimate Precision and Durability by Mike Ewing

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Very good chalk line

I've always been a fan of the Stanley FatMax line of tools. Yes, they're usually a little heavier than many other comparable tools, but they also tend to take a little more abuse. Not always, I'm sure, but in my case I've never had any real issues with the FatMax line. However, this chalk line is amazing. Yes, it's a bit bigger than most, but it's a 100ft reel, rated for 4 ounces of chalk (I have a max of 2.5-3), it's quite powerful, and the reeling is better than on every Irwin I've used. Not to mention I have a lot of Irwin tools. Another plus is that the lid can be unscrewed for filling instead of using a latch on the side. Overall 10 out of 10.
