Although the purchase price was very reasonable, the 25ft tape had a slight bend in one of the guides on the tape itself. It's not too embarrassing at this point, but I've watched enough tapes to to know that this will drastically reduce the life of the tape. Too bad otherwise a good deal.

I like the fact that it has an outstanding 10 foot height. 11 actually, but I don't think I can make it much further than 8 feet without hitting the ground. The 35ft band is almost too big for most jobs (not too long, just the case is HUGE), but it should last you a decade with normal use. It's not on a construction site, I'm in real estate, and the old tape didn't cut it.

I used to have my own concrete company and only used Fat Max measuring tapes. They were strong bands with good contraction and cost about $25-30 each. When I saw the combo pack I jumped on it pretty quickly and was looking for a Christmas present for a friend. You know how much these things cost and when I gave them 2, especially the 35 inch models, they thought I wasted a lot of money when I didn't really need it. Excellent!
