I've tried Acer, Apple, and Planar displays with a cable that I've found works can run at 1440p at 144hz without using this switch. I've spent a couple of days booting up and restarting connected computers and monitors, and I've been able to get Windows 7, macOS Sierra, and High Sierra to run 1440p displays at 60Hz on a regular basis, but this often required an AC adapter or two bikes . The exact same hardware that reboots into Windows 10 only shows 24Hz as an option on about half of my reboots

Pros
  • Always liked
Cons
  • Reliability

A minor flaw but otherwise great

The only problem is that the USB port on it rarely needs to be restarted. I use this switch when all 4 ports are occupied. Every few days after the switch, I find that my mouse and keyboard connected to the USB port on this KVM no longer work. If I switch to a different port and back, it usually fixes it. But every few times it stopped working and I had to restart KVM to get them back. Otherwise it's great. 4K no problem, USB 3.0 speed no problem.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Only available in white

The product is complete junk!

Even connecting two systems together (on a 4 port switch) gives me problems - I lose video when I switch between them. It does not matter, in the OS, outside the OS - the same problems. This switch appears to work only when the system is powered on with the port selected. Any port switching while the device is powered on will result in a loss of signal. According to tech support, if this doesn't work, you're using poor quality cables. You have NO OTHER troubleshooting steps. That's all.

Pros
  • 1 year trial

Video quality degradation

The video is not working properly. I checked the cables and they work fine on their own. However, put the KVM in the middle and the video quality drops drastically. The resolutions available are much lower and what is available is very blurry. Tried both a MacBook Pro and a Windows 10 PC, both show the same issue. I've spent hours trying different cables and now I'm giving up and giving KVM back.

Pros
  • Worth the money
Cons
  • New competitors have appeared

like a mouse good for computers and accessories

I've never been a fan of HID emulated KVM but this one works. Each connected keyboard/mouse appears as a separate USB device on a "virtual hub" with its own original VID/PID. It even works with my Apple USB keyboard, even though that keyboard has a built-in hub. You can even connect another HID device like a mouse to your keyboard and that will work too! However, you cannot connect a non-HID device such as a flash drive. And yes, it fully supports 2560x1440 ("2K") at 60Hz. In fact, I…

Pros
  • Delivery was very fast
Cons
  • I won't say anything
