Works pretty well

So first impressions it was well packaged but when I opened and inspected the unit I found that it had already been a bit damaged. The dial cover has fallen off. After sticking it back on, I checked the work. It works very well and immediately helped me with a diagnosis that we couldn't find (noise in the engine compartment). Overall, I would buy it again and would recommend it to professional technicians.

Pros
  • 7 sound settings - the decibel meter has 7 sound level settings from 60 to 120 decibels
Cons
  • Poor instructions

Might fit my needs too well

Fast delivery, great price. Would definitely buy from this company again. A nice little tool to have in your arsenal might work too well for what I need. I'm trying to find a small leak in my car's air conditioning. I saw a video of a guy using this and realizing the valve stem is leaking. I tried it out tonight at 11:30 when I got home and it really cranked up the crickets and cars on the freeway. I'll look into it further when I have time. So far it's pretty cool though. I would recommendโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Over-Ear Headphones - Professional mono headphones cover the ear completely to block out background noise
Cons
  • A few minor things

Nice tool! Great tool for finding leaks

Good product! I bought these to help diagnose a leak in the high pressure oil system in my 05ft f250. They helped with the diagnosis, but every now and then my device broke. I kept them because I really only needed them for this one task and they worked well. The only problem I have is the volume. I could turn them on and the volume control worked fine, turn them off and then use them again and almost blew my eardrums. My neighbors probably laughed a bit and must have wondered what the heckโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Flexible Gooseneck - Flexible gooseneck makes it easier to get into tight and hard to reach places
Cons
  • Boring packaging

Thing looks pretty cute

Thing looks pretty cute, but does it work? I checked it out and here's what I have to say. The headphones just don't fit my hanging ears. They just can't cover my flesh enough to block out the noise. For this reason it gets 4 stars. However, read on. After tossing the earbuds in the trash, I pulled out a regular pair of in-ear headphones and popped them in. this child. With headphones and this microphone thing that roams the car with an annoying little rumble behind it. It worked damn well andโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Aluminum Probe - The durable aluminum probe has a non-conductive rubber boot to avoid damaging sensitive electronics
Cons
  • Style 90
