Stay away from this product Sunbeam

The remote controls were great for about 2 months. You just fail. Sunbeam's response is to return the ceiling and remote controls to them at OUR expense and they will fix them. After doing this twice, our Sunbeam Blanket ends up in the landfill where it belongs.

Pros
  • 10 heating levels
Cons
  • Expensive insurance

This duvet is a poor quality product

I bought this duvet last year. On a high setting, it's only lukewarm. The previous sunbeam lasted 7 years. but this marvel of high technology lasted 380 days. You will simply replace it with another one. No return. $180 goes down the drain.

Pros
  • Stand for easy viewing next to the bed
Cons
  • Some problems

Great product for comforters and bedspreads

If marrying this comforter was legal in the state of Arizona I would. I've had other electric blankets too, but the wireless remotes are very handy; Stop searching under the bed for an old-fashioned connected controller. It also has a preheat button that toasts the bed in a minute. About double the price of cheaper blankets that aren't wireless but are worth every penny.

Pros
  • 10 hour auto shut off, preheat
Cons
  • Gotchas

Sunbeam electric blanket

I bought two defective Sunbeam electric blankets. I suspect all digitally controlled solar ray electric blankets are pretty much the same. Two other Sunbeam decks with legacy analog controls were satisfactory; one has served about 12 years, the other is still working. The blankets come with a 5 year warranty, which is pretty much useless unless the buyer lives in the US (or has a US mailing address) and is willing to pay the shipping costs to ship it back to Sunbeam. I bought my duvets in…

Pros
  • FlexTouch remote control
Cons
  • Not the best
