Always check your air conditioner

The product is simple but accurate. I always like to check all air conditioners. window and car. I knew my car would have to be towed but I wanted to make sure and then check the temperature. After evacuating and refueling etc. I managed to get 3-5 degrees Fahrenheit colder depending on the weather.

  • Delivery was very fast

Use to make cold soap

These little guys are great. I made my first batch of soap without them and got bored very quickly. Since they're a little tricky to hold over hot liquid, the ever-helpful spouse built a wire holder to hang them in the lye/water container. Works great. And I use the second one to check the temperature of the oils I use. They record the temperature very quickly. The pair I received was ready to use. Couldn't be happier with them!

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Definitely bad product

Budget thermometer, works as intended.

There are reviews here that mention the accuracy of this thermometer. Personally I had no problems and I compared it to two other thermometers in the same fridge and there was only 1-2 degrees difference between three of them and they were all different brands. Not yet tested at higher temperatures (over 100 degrees). Basically I used this to check the temperature of air vents in cars and it works really well.

  • Doping 🔥

Classic Car HVAC Thermometer

I don't know why I bought this - my skin was calibrated in South Florida over 50 years ago so I can put my hand on the car vent and tell whether I'm getting it 40 degrees. But some people still don't believe me. Regardless, this is the classic, small, inexpensive analog pen and pocket thermometer that HVAC professionals have used for years. If you are not sure whether your car air conditioner is working well, the first thing I will say is that I do not know what is wrong with you. how could you

Large, easy-to-read display

The Supco thermometer has an easy-to-read 1 3/4" display. The thermometer fits snugly in the pocket clip, but I think the size of the display makes this feature useless. Mine Opinion. Can't confirm as I haven't tested the fit in my pocket. The thermometer scale has a 4 degree increment which could make this a deal breaker for some potential buyers. As I'm using a thermometer for R134a and R12 applications, any reading is acceptable at or below 40 degrees which makes reading easier for me…

Fairly well made but not factory calibrated

This thermometer arrived quickly and appears to be of good quality. The only downside is that it is not calibrated from the factory. It's fairly easy to calibrate, but you'll need to compare it to another known accurate thermometer to do so. To adjust, you will need a 10mm open-end wrench, ring end, or small adjustable wrench. You can also use good quality pliers if you are careful. To calibrate, hold the nut in the base of the dial with a wrench and gently rotate the dial until it reads the…

Large, easy-to-read display

The Supco thermometer has an easy-to-read 1 3/4" display. The thermometer fits snugly in the pocket clip, but I think the size of the display lets you function in my opinion.I can't confirm as I haven't checked if it will fit in a pocket. With R134a and R12 any reading at or below 40 degrees is acceptable making it easier for me to read. Compare this thermometer to my old thermometer I've had for 7 years, it's also in 4 degree increments but much smaller and harder to read. Also the thermometer…
