Bad adapter included

It was easy to install (like almost everything). The main issue I had was that the Schedule 40 1.5" pipe adapter was broken or defective due to the pipe not fitting. I went to a hardware store and bought two separate pieces to make the adapter I needed and everything was fine after that.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • There are cons

Rapid absorption! suitable for rough installations

It has a lot of power! Water/waste was absorbed very quickly. Works better than our last one before we died. The sound is also significantly more muffled. I will buy another one to have on hand. These drain pumps only last 4-5 years in a family of six. I won't have to worry about my drain pump for the next 4-5 years. The handle simplifies installation and makes Carey's job easier.

Pros
  • Ideal for a small house
Cons
  • Available for exchange

Superior l/2hp crankcase

First Superior crankcase. Was excited to get one as we have 2 septic tanks in our basement. This carries most of the drain. Received in April; no problems in spring-summer and autumn weather. Noted that it was slowly dying just after Christmas with 12 inches of snowmelt in 40 degree weather. Will ask for a replacement as the 3 year warranty is far from over. I hope they replace it quickly so our basement doesn't get flooded.

  • Weight

Powerful and reliable

This is the second time I have bought this superior model. We use a sump to deal with the rain we get annually so I expect it will last a few years between replacements. This particular block moves water at a good rate and I haven't had any clogging issues. I recommend it, but as with any machine, overuse will shorten its lifespan. This is the best pump I have found for my situation.

Pros
  • One year trial period
Cons
  • Speed

Excellent replacement for a 10 year old block

This thing is a beast. I mostly installed it while underwater after realizing the previous one in my bypass room had failed. This thing emptied the entire crawl space in less than 30 minutes. Remember that outside there was standing water about 3 inches above the level of the swamp. I found that part of the drain pipe was not secured and the connectors were forcefully ripped off, but that's not the pumps fault. Despite all the rain we've had in TN, the ground has been bone dry since installing…

Pros
  • This is a miracle
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something

Seems to be a great pump so far

This pump is in the ground under a trellis in our Florida backyard. During the summer months we have heavy rains. This pump protects our yard from flooding. In the video you can see how the water is thrown onto the street. This water flows from the back yard through a pipe we buried to a pump at least 70 feet from the curb. The pump is so powerful that it squirts water onto the street as if it were nothing. It comes out like a geyser. We couldn't be happier. We've only had it a few months so we
