Purchased these to snow ski in, worked as advertised. Kept me and my son's faces nice and toasty (snowed 24" 1st day -10 degrees). Was a little large on my son but tucked it behind strapped on his helmet and it stayed in placed w/out any problems. Awesome deal for 2, my wife actually bought these and I stole the 2nd one as I wasnt a fan of mine. Stays up, is super warm (we snowboard in colorado) and fits great under my helmet. What a great product for a great price. Easily doubles as a neck wrap or head band as well. Material is kind of a spandex + poly mix, soft and stretchy, not fluffy.

I purchased this product as a Christmas gift so it hasn't been used yet. The ordering process went well and I expect my son to like the balaclava and to appreciate the second one when he loses the first one.

I like the material and the face that the facemask can be pulled over the nose or tucked under the chin. I've only worn once so far but assusme that it will do the trick for ice fishing and skiing.

The masks are simply THE BEST. We had few very cold days in Virginia and the temp went down to -5F with a wind chill of -15F and I was outdoors for 8 hours and the mask performed like a charm. I did not feel the wind or cold around the neck or face. I would highly recommend them. Actually I will be ordering a second set as backup just in-case Friendly Swede decides to discontinue them. Thank You Friendly Swede for an excellent product, and PLEASE DO NOT discontinue them.

These came quickly and seem very warm. Unfortunately it's so warm here it's hard to wear them for long, but I'm en route to the Arctic ocean and will update with how they hold up there in a month or so. The design is great, the fabric "hinge" allows comfort with the face part either up or down, and they are nice and soft. Got it for some wind protection for cold weather riding. They list the temperature range and i tend to agree with it, if youre jogging or riding anything under 40 degrees this may not be the one for you. It is very comfortable and stretchy. I have a large head and it fits me well and is not too tight. Plus you get two of them, pretty good value for the money.

After purchasing and returning other more expensive balacava, I'm very happy with these. The fabric is soft, the hat portion covers your ears well even when the face mask part has been pulled down, which is great. Material is warm, yet thin enough to wear under my helmet (I wear it for biking). There are no seams in strange places to press against my face with the helmet on either. Got these "nordic" balaclavas for colder weather cycling. Price was very reasonable for two and they appear to be well made and of quality material. Haven't had a chance to use them yet but they should be warm while still being thin enough to fit well under a helmet.

Soft, affordable, stays in place, comfortable. This is my first full balaclava, but it is more comfortable than any other face mask or neck warmer I’ve worn. It isn’t super warm, but gives enough protection so that along with your jacket it should be more than enough. This is a truly do it all balaclava. Surprising quality for the price. Fits well under a helmet and is a good weight. Warm enough for skiing in Michigan, but thin enough to fit under a helmet. I use one (adult large helmet) and my son uses the other (child medium helmet) and the for is good for us both.The two piece design makes it really easy to give full coverage or pull it down for a little cooking action after a hard run.
