When I was removing the adapter from one bike rack to install it on another, I pulled out the screws that held the hold rear brackets in place. I can't believe something designed for a child seat can be made out of what looks like plastic bolts. I am appalled that I drove around town with my child in something so cheap. I contacted Thule support and also this seller about the issue. I love the Thule car seat myself, but that adapter sucks.

This product works as intended but is heavy and the top cover falls off. My wife and I each bought one so we could easily move matching seats between our bikes and in the back. It is very durable and can be done quickly and easily. However, there is a plastic cap covering the metal frame that falls off easily, rendering the adapter unusable.
