Description of 🔧 TICONN Heat Shrink Connectors Crimping Tool: Ratcheting Wire Crimper Pliers - Ratchet Terminal Crimper - Wire Crimp Tool (30C, Blue)

【PROFESSIONAL CRIMPING TOOL】TICONN hand crimper has efficient ratcheting mechanism and professional grade crimping die for proper rock-solid crimps every time. This crimping tool works best with Heat Shrink Connectors terminals. 【PRECISE RATCHETING MECHANISM】wire connectors are crimped by squeezing the handle through a complete ratcheting cycle until the handle releases automatically. The ratcheting function allows to secure a wire connector while you can insert the wires into the crimp. 【ADJUSTABLE CRIMPING FORCE】The tool has a star wheel that allows to adjust crimping height to ensure the right amount of crimping force depending on your crimping project. A designated quick release lever allows to open the crimper jaws in any position. 【ERGONOMIC COMFORTABLE HANDLES 】The ergonomic, cushioned, non-slippery handles were designed to ensure strong grips in any condition. These handles have enough leverage to comfortably crimp AWG 22-10 splices. 【TICONN BRAND QUALITY COMMITMENT】 We stand behind the quality of our products. If for any reason you are not satisfied with your purchase, please contact us. We provide 30-day money back and lifetime warranty. 100% Satisfaction Guarantee for risk-free shopping!.

Works like a champ and won't break your wallet.

Works as expected. Several connections crimped, nice and tight. I crimped a connection with wires of different sections, it didn't work well with a smaller wire, I figured out how to deal with it and was happy with the result.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Don't know

I wasn't sure about this purchase but I'm very happy with them.

Fits me perfectly. Point the colored dots toward the wire, not toward the terminal. The only problem I sometimes have is the little red connectors. Sometimes you have to squeeze it between pliers to squeeze it tighter so the wire doesn't pull out. It took me a few crimps to really like this crimping tool, it's strong.

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Socket required

Go there, that's not the crimping tool you need.

Just received a crimping tool from Ticonn. We have a lot of custom cables to install and were hoping a crimping tool would speed up the process. This tool fulfills a double function. Not only a pair of pliers, but also a great self-defense item. Heavy, heavy, with three common wire slot sizes clearly labeled on the cut page, you might find it useful. Ours obviously came used, without packaging and was hardly used. she goes back Buy better than this. Don't need crimpers for self defense?

No further instructions, difficult to set up

No instructions other than those in the advert above. This tool is not easy to set up. You loosen the screw near the sprocket adjustment wheel and have to open and close the crimping tool to adjust. But how far you can adapt is anyone's guess. One setting literally crushes the terminal. One shot leaves a small gap and another shot leaves a larger gap. In general, it's not easy to see or tell which setting is too big or too small, other than tugging on the wire after crimping. If the wire comes…

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model

Doesn't compress much.

If I hadn't started my project so late I would have just returned. I bought them separately from a number of terminals from the same company. This was the recommended model. Even with the right 22-18 AWG (red) setting and direction, it just won't grab the wire. Ordinary pliers produce a "better crimp". In my photos you can see that the terminal is wide open even when fully pressed. (I corrected it too) I try to upload another photo, between the slots on the pliers you can clearly see that the…

Pros
  • Delivery was very fast
Cons
  • Useless features

Makes a terrible crimp

Absolutely useless crimping tool, especially for small wires. Better with pliers. Serious. If your wire completely fills the plug you might be able to make a connection, but that's only because any deformation will result in contact between the wire and the plug, not because the crimp on this tool is well designed. And it won't be strong. The ratcheting action, quality and construction of this tool is fine. There is no crimp bit. General. Purchase at your own risk. Oh, it doesn't damage the…

Jaws with two profiles - a big surprise for me

I think the seller didn't get on board with these crimping pliers. On one side of the jaws you will find a profile for typical crimp connectors. On the other side you will find a connection profile with shrink tubing. If you find the hose ruptures, pinch it on the other side. If you find that the crimp is not holding, move the fitting to the other side of the jaws. No doubt they are very heavy. If I worked in a job that required them every day, I would buy lighter ones. For my occasional needs…
