The shoes are very cute for a baby. These are great shoes for beginners as they have a slightly flexible sole. The Velcro closure makes it easy to conform to your child's foot and continue to adjust as they grow. The outsole of the shoe is also lightly padded to provide more comfort. There is a protector on the underside that prevents slipping. The skin is soft, so there should be no blisters. Great for summer!

This product is marketed as a baby's first running shoe and that is how we used it on our granddaughter who has just started walking. Now the shoes look incredibly cute on her and she doesn't mind wearing them. We took her for walks in the fresh air and everything went very well. So, two pluses: very cute and attractive and serves the purpose very well. However, they are not particularly well made and we do not expect a long service life. The build quality just isn't there. Honestly these were the best little shoes for our boy. He is 5 months old but he is already walking very actively in a baby walker and is beginning to notice that his little legs get tired when walking. We decided to try these little sandals in size 6-12 months and they fit him perfectly. He's a bit fuller than a baby, but he still needs to fill out about 1-2 inches so he can get more out of them. The straps are Velcro although they look like straps with buckles and the sole of the foot is soft
