When adjusting the sharpness of a photographic lens, even tightening of the screws around the optical assemblies is of paramount importance. Especially for macro lenses where uneven tightening will tilt/distort the focal plane even if you have the correct number of shims under the element. This saves time that is never enough.

Great quality tool but when I tested it with a torque tester this drive was consistently at least 1 inch ounce over torque. So if I wanted 6 inches per ounce I had to deviate from 6. You shouldn't place these adjustable torque drivers outside of the set range, but I needed 6 inches per ounce. That's why I bought this damn thing. I would have given more stars if she really hit the target.

This is a good torque screwdriver and I received it quickly. The torque screwdriver is small and easy to adjust. The only thing I didn't understand is that it uses ball detents (sometimes called power bits). So if you have a wire lock (sometimes called push bits) you'll need something like Wera Hexagon 895/4/1 K.
