You simply can't go wrong with an OEM filter.

Why bother? Toyota says use this one and they were sold very low for you to afford. I've never had a problem with these filters and I don't have to worry as it's a Toyota part.

Pros
  • Price
Cons
  • Obsolete

Fits Prius 2011 - OEM Look

Fits Prius 2011 - OEM Look. Tip - a regular oil wrench won't fit because of the slots at the end. I modified my plastic key with a vibrating tool. I made a YouTube video where you can search for Prius Oil Filter Key Modification Gen3 2011.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Negative present

Good value for money! Best in Filters

I was trying to find most of the genuine parts because I had a bad oil change at a local shop. After some checking these filters and oils I found were 2-3 times better than store bought oil changes. Great filter! Now I'm looking at extra mile filters to see if they really do what they say they do.

Pros
  • Inspires Confidence
Cons
  • So-so

Wrong filter for Prius 2017

I ordered this oil filter for my 2017 Toyota Prius. I checked Amazon to make sure it's the right filter. However, when I removed the current oil filter from the car, it was a different filter. It uses canister filters instead of a replaceable filter with a permanent filter cap. I now have two unused filters due to incorrect Amazon compatibility.

Standard fit. Fast delivery. Filtered engine oil.

stock toyota oil filter for my corolla 13. Just make sure you have a toyota oil filter housing remover tool and wrench and you're good to go. There are many videos on You Tube to help you decide on the make and model. It even has instructions on the packaging in multiple languages in case you forget! Standard first delivery. No complaints here.

Great filter BUT. in Oil Filters

A Toyota OEM filter came in the mail which fitted as expected but was equivalent to a 'TRD Performance Oil Filter'. The box said part number 04152-YZZA6 but it was actually 15613-YZZA6 (see photo). I did a bit of searching to determine this but at first I was very disappointed that I had already drained the oil and found that the part number did not match the packaging. So, for you future consumers: 04152-YZZA6 corresponds to 15613-YZZA6.

Pros
  • Original OEM - Direct Fit
Cons
  • Frequency

Perfect fit OEM part

This part was identical to the one I used on our 2013 Prius Two. There is nothing to say except watch the price drop and buy according to your needs. Due to the low mileage we only do one oil change a year so we don't keep stock but over the past few years I've ridden a lot more and have done it 2-3 times a year depending on how many miles I need to put on. Automobile. OEM filters are great, and if the price is lower than your local retailer, it's best to order a few to have on hand.

Pros
  • Effectively removes dirt
Cons
  • No performance

Exactly what I needed for my Toyota Prius

These are genuine Toyota parts so I was confident I would have no problems fitting them. The price is definitely lower than what I would pay at a local parts store if I could get what I need (an internet search led me to believe that I might have to buy exactly what I needed from a Toyota dealer need). Along with my online oil purchase, I saved a lot of money to do it with the right parts. If you have a 2010 Toyota Prius, these parts will help you get set up.

Pros
  • Recommended for use with Toyota engine oils
Cons
  • Updates available

Perfect for the job

Oil filter perfect for my 2013 Lexus CT200H (same engine as 3rd gen Prius). No questions. Filter material, rubber seal and packaging look 100% original. I will buy again. I do 10,000km oil change intervals and after a breakdown and a filter media check it looks great. Because of their hybrid transmission, these engines are very lightly loaded and do not "run" constantly during use. There was more oil and the filter collected almost no deposits. I'm sure you can easily get 12,000 miles on these…

Pros
  • Offers high quality engine efficiency
Cons
  • Very expensive
