No pumice, which is important to me

Have tried many other hand cleaners. They all work somehow. But I like this one best. I bought 2 small ones for the house and I use this big one for gas and in the store. NATURALLY it's sandy - it has walnut shells in it. Over the years it has never condensed or changed with age. Gave away all my other brands for it

Pros
  • Good stuff
Cons
  • Sad tech

Not impressed with house cleaning

Product smells good and looks natural but doesn't clean very well which is very disappointing. I feel like my drain is slower too, but honestly my drain gets overloaded pretty quickly. My biggest complaint by far is that it doesn't remove dirt or oil very well, which is why I'm a masseuse, so I need something that really cleans my hands until it's just dawn and the brush seems to be doing its job.

Pros
  • Expensive but decent
Cons
  • Expandable

Does not foam, needs to be mixed with soap.

A little disappointed with it. It's literally just a nutty scrub with a carrier liquid that doesn't smell or foam. Finally, I should have some soap next to it so I can mix the scrub into the soap so my hands are covered in soap. The scrub definitely does the job of getting the oil off my hands, but next time I'll probably buy one of the popular scrubs that lather my hands a little better. I would rather not use soap over this scrub.

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • Expensive

Doesn't work well - Household Items

It takes about 5 uses and 5 minutes to wash away all the dirt from a hard day's work. It seems there are some nuts in there. The pump feels like it isn't sealed properly and you have to pump about 5 times to get the equivalent of 2 pumps. The smell is also not very good, although the smell is faint. The only reason I'm not giving this 1 star is because it was one of the cheapest products of its kind on the market and works slightly better than regular soap.

Pros
  • A Dream Come True
Cons
  • Long Wait

Cross or is it? for household goods

As popular as Kresto Hand Wash Gel is, I didn't see a comparison so I decided to write a review. This stuff works well, mostly what's in the cleaner, not the sand. The granularity in it is rather poor and what is there is much coarser than Kresto Classic. The sand in my bottle doesn't really work as a scrubber. But even without it, it removes dirt and grease well. If you are looking for a real hand cleanser with lots of fine additives then I would recommend buying Cresto.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Contemporary

Not as good as Orange Stuff

I bought this thinking it might be better for our old cast iron septic tanks than pumice stone. (Pumice is a non-floating rock and can settle in pits and imperfections in cast iron.) Thought the walnut shells would float away and be less clogging of our 100-year-old pipes. In any case, this material is much thinner, almost liquid - not like Goop or Orange Glo. Walnut shell particles are very large and much smaller than pumice in alternatives. It also leaves your hands MUCH drier than the…
