installed 17 years ago. Still works fine. Never had to be serviced or cleaned. I have kept my boat in many muddy or smelly waters (Chesapeake, Trent River, NC, Ortega River, Florida). I bought this as a backup. Nothing is forever.

It's expensive but it's the only switch I use on my boat and my customers' boats. A nice feature is the green light, which shows at a glance that the switch has power. Also comes with shrink butt connectors, nice. Never changed for 3 years!

The switch installs in a wet boat and works perfectly, fits in tight spaces. it is reliable and easy to install. You can not ask for more. The main thing here is reliability, if it fails, the boat will sink.

I have 2 of these stock float switches on my 2012 SeaHunter. They are both original which makes them 9 years old. There is no better product on the market today. Although the initial cost seems high, it's worth every penny. I recently bought another one thinking one had failed, but it's not a battery issue. Spend extra money and buy them.

I am very happy with this float switch. Yes, it's expensive, but it's nothing when you think about security. The installation was a bit confusing in my case due to the suspension of the boat manufacturer. A phone call to the company led me to speak to the owner and inventor. He let me take a picture, walked me through everything and even called me back the next day to see if the installation was completed correctly. Totally old school and I'm really excited!
