Excellent quality, accuracy and price!

I have this sensor for use with a MYPIN T series PID controller. The ice bath temperature is 31.9 F. The workmanship and quality appears to be very good. I've used it in vegetable oil 400F with no problems. This is a great hobby sensor at a great price.

Pros
  • Test, measure and test
Cons
  • Expensive

Stops working after about 30 minutes

I replaced my old thermocouple with a new one on my temperature controller. It worked fine for 30 minutes, then it shut down at about 40 degrees. I put the old one back in and the system worked flawlessly. The only problem is that the old one doesn't fit, but Uxcell fits better. I will try another manufacturer.

Pros
  • Temperature Probes & Sensors
Cons
  • Slightly cracked

End connectors red and blue arrived!? .

Red-blue end connectors arrived!? The insulation of the cores is a quartz or glass fiber high-temperature braid of the German standard with red dots on the plus and green dots on the minus. Assuming it is German K high temperature wire, it will work as per specification in ice water and boiling water bath. Haven't tried it at high temperatures against a reliable meter yet.

Pros
  • Temperature and humidity sensor
Cons
  • Doubtful senior citizen purchase
