This nailer works reasonably well. I had a Hitachi 18ga. a nail gun that I used for several years but the plastic bottom of the loading slot broke. It is 16ga. The nailer drives 21/2" nails flush and leaves no extra dimples in the wood. The only thing that bothers me is the coating on the nose. This product stopped working for me when I first tried it. I've used it for maybe 100 finishing nails in an outdoor charcoal cabinet and 2 meals for a smoker.
