I liked the fit, snug enough not to slip but not too tight to hurt. They squeeze the foot a little on the first two socks, but then they fit perfectly.

Vans discontinued this type of high-top shoe and went to their current style, which I think looks worse, so I'm glad I was able to find them here before they disappeared. Great shoes

Love them. Very comfortable, fit very well. And a great view. Easy to slip on, unlike some Converse shoes which are often too tight to slip on. If I need replacements, I take the same ones!

They are very comfortable and have nice ankle padding (which I really like because it's very comfortable when you hit your ankle, whether it's falling off the board or the board hitting your ankles ). they're durable as hell too. I do downhill longboarding/skate occasionally so I fall often, especially at high speeds. In addition, these shoes have great grip. Maybe I just have a high shank, but they're a little tighter than expected all over the upper, fixed with loose laces, but then feel a little loose, the toe box is longer than expected but comfortable over shoes. However, they do not provide true ankle support.
