Holds a charge well though.

A battery will work when the controller is attached to its base. The other kit includes a charger but will not work in a charger and must use USB to charge. I would come again, but I don't want to do without it anymore. Your choice

Not really compatible with Xbox Series X controllers.

Has given enough time to charge. Then struggled to even slot it into the controller as if it just wasn't the right place to start. It once failed to power my Xbox Series X controller. I haven't tried it with an Xbox One controller as I don't have one, but my dissatisfaction with it not working with my Series X controller prompted me to to return it the same day I received it.

Great price for a must-have gaming accessory

I am pleasantly surprised at the quality of this item at this price! The charging connector is very durable and the batteries fit very well. This thing charges pretty fast and now I don't need batteries! You can charge your controller on the dock or directly from the controller with a USB-C charger so you never run out of power. I recommend it to friends or relatives who often play Xbox.

Impressively beautiful docking station

This charger not only impressed me with the modern use of USB Type-C connectors, but also with the beautiful design of the charging station and the overall quality of the design. The batteries are long lasting and appear to be very well constructed. I think it's good that you can charge the batteries yourself or at the docking station, depending on your needs. Decent controller charger, easy to install (requires some effort), wish it had an outlet

Note this only works for Xbox x series controllers and not before. The first thing I would like to say about this is that you need to put some pressure on the battery when inserting the battery. When tightening, I had to push fairly hard and insert carefully. If you are not careful you can break the latch. The latch is strong but enough pressure and you can break it. However, once on my controller, the battery works great. It looks very well mixed. The color matches my black Xbox One controller
