Do not worry! Get full size!

I have tried 3 of these portable irrigators in about 3 years. I bought a portable irrigator primarily because my sink has a pedestal with a tiny ledge that isn't big enough to support a full size square corded irrigator. Despite using the irrigator religiously, I still got mediocre feedback from the dentist about the condition of my gums and pockets, and I've had to have a deep cleaning twice in 3 years. UP cleaning every 3 months. THEN I finally got a full size wired irrigator because they…

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities
Cons
  • High price

My (wired) Waterpik finally died after over 8 years (there was a leak in the spiral hose from the machine to the handle) so I decided to try the wireless one one. I received it and charged it for a full 24 hours as directed and then tried it out. First, the pressure wasn't high enough, even on the "high" setting; Secondly, despite the low "high pressure" it burned through the tank in about 30-40 seconds. I was so disappointed that I put it aside to dry to return it. After about 2 weeks, when he

I use mine in the shower!

Now this thing is my secret weapon. I use it in the shower every other day and charge it once a week or two. No troubles in the soul and no mess. That was the main reason I had never used aerators before. Too annoying and dirty. But this new way is easy! I've had bad teeth and gums my whole life. Now almost the entire mouth is filled with crowns. As soon as I started using it, on my next two visits to the dentist, I was told that I "obviously care about my teeth," which was a big change from…

I have tried 3 of these manual irrigators in about 3 years. I bought a manual irrigator primarily because my sink has a base with a tiny ledge that isn't big enough to support a full size square corded irrigator. Despite using the irrigator religiously, I still got mediocre feedback from the dentist about the condition of my gums and pockets, and I've had to have a deep cleaning twice in 3 years. I love Waterpik but not these

After using the big Waterpik Ultra (model WP-100) for several years and getting great results I decided to buy it for my husband. I chose this one because his bathroom is small and this model is quite compact, plus he travels a lot so he also liked the idea of being wireless and portable. I bought it last December (2012) as a Christmas present. The first issue with this model is the capacity, which is about half that of the regular model. This is fine for a quick crawl, but not for a deep…
