I ordered this as a school uniform skirt for my daughter. The khaki was too light so it wouldn't work. When she tried it on, we thought the skirt was incredibly small. I ordered XL because I've read that it runs small. You will easily need 2x. Although the skirt is very cute! Too bad it didn't work. Returned.

I bought 2x of this skirt, A 2X! I can always stuff in 2x more pants, shirts, whatever. Sometimes I can even carry 1x. I bought 2x to be on the safe side and it fits just as well as the big one. They were MUCH small and I couldn't even zip them up let alone put them on. The shorts underneath were tight and uncomfortable. And to top it off, THE SKIRT WAS SHORT! Unless you're a 4ft 9 skinny girl my plus size friends will spend your money elsewhere.

This was a great birthday gift for my 13 year old daughter but the zipper broke the first night she wore it. I had to cut open the crotch of the shorts so she could go to the bathroom, then zip open (which was stuck in the top position) to get her out! (As you can see from the photo, it fit her perfectly. Ignore bad reviews. I love the style and the overall quality of the material. Definitely exudes a schoolgirl and cheerleader aesthetic. I ordered 2x, I usually order 1x for skirts, but I ordered more just in case. Then came the skirt. It was WAY too small and short! I couldn't even lift my skirt even though I'm not that tall. The sizes advertised do not match what you would receive if you had accidentally ordered a larger size. If you're not skinny, then unfortunately this skirt isn't for you. The belt is the real highlight of this skirt. Even with a tiny piece of gum, it didn't matter. It was too tight for me. I have a 30" waist and ordered the largest size which appears to be "3XL" and was too uncomfortable to even try on.
