Description of πŸ”¬ Whatman 1004 055 Circles with Quantitative Diameter

5.5cm. Grade 4. Used in qualitative analytical techniques to determine and identify materials. Extremely fast filtering; provides excellent retention of coarse particles (20-25ΞΌm) and gelatinous precipitates such as ferric hydroxide and aluminium hydroxide. Used when high flow rates in air pollution monitoring are required and the collection of fine particles is not critical.

Take that Eric! - Quantitative Filter Paper

This is a great filter, I use it every day in the quality control lab. Works great every time! I would recommend this to any company that has a lab.

good for filtered espresso

The filter fits perfectly in the small (51mm cone) passive filter basket of my coffee maker and prevents the joint pains experienced by some people who drink unfiltered coffee. the flow rate is very good (does not noticeably affect the foam) and the filter remains intact. although it falls apart when washed.
