I've had to listen to people write that there is extra fabric on the front which makes these shorts look rather odd when worn. Spring. Otherwise the fabric is great and the blue is a great colour. So if they suit you, you will probably like them. but compared to the size of the leg opening and the size of the waist, there is an extra fabric in the front. I will return them.

These shorts aren't pretty. They bulge around the crotch as can be seen in my unattractive photo I included here. However, they are incredibly comfortable, don't chafe and dry out of the crotch very quickly. First 2 photos in size S, second 2 in size XS I usually wear size S/M or 4. Hiking clothes are my everyday clothes and I bought them because I need them a pair of khaki shorts. I wasn't impressed with the fit. Too much space in front and back not clearly visible. There is also a big difference between the sizes.
