Now I will change the oil

I didn't even know there was such a thing! I was so fed up with the filters that they wouldn't come off and I had to pierce them with a screwdriver to remove them. Normal filter keys suck. I hand tighten all my filters but they always refuse to loosen. These things they take off right away without making holes in the filter or pouring oil on themselves. This is a great addition to my toolbox. I also like how they are regulated. So that I can use them on my cars and motorcycles without buying…

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities
Cons
  • There are more interesting options.

Worked well for a filter change

Impacted by Covid and my concerns for the first time in 30 years I decided to start changing the oil in my car again. The problem was that I didn't have the necessary tools, so I went here to try and find a wrench. This was one of the first ones I came across but when I tried to order I received a pending order message. However, a seller had a carefully used one and I settled on it. Works perfectly. Easy to use and highly recommended. Just one caveat: it's very easy to install a new filter, so…

Well made and durable

This wrench is well made and works as advertised. I used it to remove the oil filter on my motorcycle. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because it was very tight at the exhaust pipes and I think others who are buying for the same reason may have the same issues as me. I had to twist a little, let go, and then snap again; In the process, the same teeth that allow it to grip the filter fairly well also snapped, and I was worried it wouldn't hold well enough to finish the job. In short, if you need…

What stopped me so much?

I hate disposable tools, I'll start with this. I've been using old school oil wrenches since I was knee deep in front of a grasshopper. You know the way; basically a strip attached to the handle. The biggest problem with them is that oil filters come in a variety of sizes and these things slide too much, bend and tend to take up little space. The funny thing is that most filters only need to be broken with a tool. , less than a quarter turn, and then they can be easily removed by hand. You are…

  • Easy setup
Cons
  • There are some nuances

Oil in the bag does not mean used up!

I've noticed that some reviewers are mistaking a small amount of oil in the bag as a sign of the tool being used. It's not relevant. The oil is made in such a way that the manufacturer can make a ton at a time and keep it in a warehouse or container for a long time without rusting! If the tool has no actual scratches on the teeth or cuts on the rubber, the tool is new. However, the tool does have one small drawback: the screw holding the two sides together has been loosened a bit, and you can't

Pros
  • Lots of positive vibes
Cons
  • Easily repairable
