Flaring tool on Tools & Equipment

did not come with mannaul as advertised, difficult to double flare in the middle. I'm not sure how much pipe needs to come out to make a good torch

Pros
  • handy item
Cons
  • repair

Poor quality, most critical part

The conical head at the end of the screw did not attach directly and did not articulate very easily. Made it difficult to get a good square highlight.

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Communication with seller

Weak, cheap tool.

I bought a fuel line for flares, processed about two flares, then one of the bolts on the clamp broke, I had to finish it with a clamp on a vise. Get what you pay for.

Pros
  • The best in its niche
Cons
  • Low maintainability

Exactly what I wanted, a good brake flare tool

This was my first time using one of these tools on a double flare. It took quite a long time to figure out how to do that. You Tube gave the answer. It works and I am happy with this tool. Many Thanks.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Requires socket

Works like a champ, good for tools and gear

Haven't needed a double torch yet but I've used it extensively on a lot of 3/8" copper tubing and it worked great what's annoying is that the pin kept falling to the ground, mostly because of my disabled hand.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

Worst means! - Brake Flare Tools

This product sucks. I hate using it and it's not practical at all. It is difficult to use and will not ignite the copper line. I do not like this product and do not suggest the HVAC worker to purchase or use this tool. and money for telling you not to buy it.

Pros
  • Best
Cons
  • I vaguely remember
