5/5 best hoses on the market

this is the only 5 star review i have ever written, i use these hoses every day, they work very well, don't burn my fingers more

Pros
  • best in its niche
Cons
  • ---

Works great when it works.

Great when they work. Sometimes the low-loss mechanism gets stuck and you get spatters as soon as the hose breaks off. Remove the spring clip, disassemble, clean and reassemble the low-loss fitting. usually takes care of it for a while.

Pros
  • Easy install
Cons
  • Requires outlet

Excellent tubing for temperature probes and sensors

As a senior refrigeration/air conditioning technician I use them daily and they are great. The length suits me. I like low loss fittings, I've been using them for many years and haven't encountered a single problem. i will get more

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Not sure

No ball valves but sealed fittings

Tubing fits my Testo electronics assembly aid perfectly. Because they are short, they easily fit in a suitcase. There are no ball valves, but the ends are sealed, meaning you can remove the liquid line hose and then charge the refrigerant back into the lines.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • boring packaging

Save my hands! in Test, Measure & Inspect

I bought them for two reasons. #1 because low-loss fittings are built in. I had 5ft tubing with low loss adapters. I'm an HVACR student and we had a 2 minute hypothermia and overheat test. When I screwed the low-loss adapter onto the liquid line fitting, it started to leak. Thinking there was a leak in the system, I tried to tighten it quickly. The leak got worse and I found that the hose fitting had unthreaded from the low-loss adapter, which I quickly tightened with my left hand and removed…

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

No ball valves, but with tight screw connections

Hoses fit my Testo electronics distributor perfectly. Because they are short, they easily fit in a suitcase. There are no ball valves, but the ends are sealed, meaning you can remove the liquid line hose and then charge the refrigerant back into the lines.

Pros
  • Country of origin: China
Cons
  • No instructions

Must have great product

Great product overall. The length isn't the longest, I ordered a 36" set but still works for me. I will order another set for other sensors. Arrived the same day. Come with low-loss fittings, which is a must. LiveJournal in excellent quality. Great price, multiple sizes to choose from.

Pros
  • Model number: 22983
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model

Save my hands! in Test, Measure & Inspect

Bought these for 2 reasons. #1 because low loss fittings are fitted I had 5 foot hoses with low loss adapters I am in HVACR school and we had a 2 minute subcool and superheat evaluation test When I screwed the low loss adapter onto a liquid line and it started leaking as I thought it was leaking in the system , I tried to tighten it quickly in rubber gloves Operation The gloves soaked up the liquid refrigerant (410A) like a sponge. When I took the gloves off I had frostbite on my left…

Pros
  • Item Pack Size: 2.0"L x 2.0"W x 2.0"H
Cons
  • Expensive
