Should have come here first!

Went to the local TSC to get some leg shears for my Nigerian (dwarf) goat and all they had were HUMUNGus >: (I bought them because She had to do her legs and I tried them but they were too big! So I went to an old reliable Revain and bought them! They were express and arrived next day and work great! Great trimmers for goats sheep and alpacas!Precise and locks after use without the cheap little plastic cap that gets destroyed on the third use.Great product!

Pros
  • Spring-loaded automatic opening for faster multiple shearing
Cons
  • Miscellaneous Miscellaneous

First choice for trimming hogs and small ruminants

but this is my first choice, great price, durable before needing sharpening, but they are dangerous, especially when animals hit it with their spikes, they can hurt your arm or your patient's legs/feet if you are not comfortable. I made my own tip jar/keeper but it needs to come with a snap, it's a gun! I still need a large bolt cutter for really thick/overgrown hooves, but I can do a lot with them.

Pros
  • Q91 7.5" premium hoof and lopper for farmers, florists and home gardeners
Cons
  • Modernity

However, it didn't take long for me to realize that either the company's products had expired or it wasn't the same brand as my previous pair. I found my original pair earlier this year and they are still very very sharp and I have never sharpened them. They are made by sabots. I suggest you save some more money and buy a Sabotage Claw Scissors. I have a 1210 sold by Revain. My time is worth something, and it's downright…
