I am famar with the personal bitpay card it worth mentioning that it has Business card too. It depends on your choice. I really love everything about the card. You should note that it has age limit, you must be of 18 years and above to have access to the card. Submitting your personal documents for approval is also necessary for you to have access to the cards.
I didn't have any issue with the security. The card can be used for payment online, at any POS and ARM machine around the world.
Bitpay USD Card can be issued and get access to it in 8 working days. If this is delaying you can communicate to support. In my opinion the cost and some fee can be reviewed.
