My review about SpectroCoin EUR card.
Today i want to share the results of my research to SpectroCoin EUR card.
Spectro Coin is a company registered in Lithuania, its part of Bankera, a crypto Startup which was founded in 2017.
The EUR card of SpectroCoin is a VISA card without country restriction, so you can use it on million ATM and shops world wide.
Funding is easy, you can deposit crypto on your SpectroCoin Wallet and use this funds with your card, that's also an advantage.
But be aware that it's not a credit card, actually it's a prepaid card. So there is a loading limit of 8000€.
Also the fees seem to be a bit high for me.
You need to pay 7€ for the card, thats okay. There is a additional administration fee of 23€.
Also you have to pay a monthly service charge fee of 1.5€.
There is no free ATM withdrawal limit, every withdrawal at ATMs cost 1€ plus 0,5%-1,5% depending on the county.
I'm not a fan of monthly fees, so i decided that i don't want to order this card.
Alltogether it seems to be a good product, the customers who use it seem to be happy. Because of the high fees, it's not the right product for me.
Pros
- It's a VISA card, very high acceptance.
- You can use it at 30+ million ATMs around the world.
- There is no country restriction, you can use it world wide.
- Contactless payment possible.
Cons
- It's a prepaid card, so it has a loading limit of 8000€.
- There is no free ATM withdrawal amount. Every withdrawal costs 1€ or more.
- Administration fee of 23€ is way too high!
- Monthly service charge fee of 1.15€.
