Review on WageCan GBP by Japheth Ayuba

Revainrating 3 out of 5

High spending limit is the taker for this card. It's fees are not good while compared to other crypto cards

The WageCan GBP card is a subsidiary of the services provided by WageCan which allows spending of cryptocurrencies directly from the users crypto wallets gotten from the WageCan wallet application and currently only supports Bitcoin for it's spending. The process of loading Bitcoin onto the wallet is one of the most simplest method I have seen while using crypto cards, with an address placed close to the prepaid card loading section, I could easily send some BTC to the address and get credited after 3 blockchain confirmation which is quite instantaneous in a way. There is also no loading fee but the other fees the card charge is high.
The wallet is made available in both forms usually seen in crypto cards; Virtual and Plastic cards. There is also a referral program on WageCan where users get to earn $5 for every successful referral who completes their profile and verified their identity. I take this as a rebate from the exorbitant fees charged by the card while comparing with other crypto cards I have used. There is an option to permit overdraft payments while using the card in cases of insufficient funds. Along with a clean interface, the card is easy to use as all transactions made can be shown on the wallet app. The major reason whi I can recommend this wallet is for it's huge spending limit placed on the card set at $20,000

Pros
  • WageCan GBP card is directly linked to the WageCan wallet app to spend Bitcoin funds
  • Supports an amazingly rewarding referral program where users get to earn $5 for every person successfully referred to the platform
  • Allows overdraft payment on the card
  • High spending limit of $20,000 allows or makes the card suitable for companies
Cons
  • No much information given on the website
  • Too expensive to use with high fees
