Shift card makes Bitcoin/USD conversion easy
Among the Visa debit cards that make easy conversion of crypto assets into everyday purchases and facilitate buying of goods and services with bitcoin was Shift card.
Shift card is a Visa card by nature and it is meant to be used only with bitcoin. It also support one flat currency, which is USD. This means that if you have Bitcoin in your coinbase account, you can withdraw USD out.
Another good spot about shift card is that you can attach your shift card to your usual bank account with coinbase and then make every purchases with the bitcoin held in the coinbase.
The fees charged when using shift card is diversed. There is issuance fee, ATM usage fee that are charged per withdrawal which also varies depending on whether transaction is local or international. Generally speaking, shift card does not charge above what is obtainable with other Visa cards.
Unfortunately the card cease operation since April 2019. Hopefully, it will relaunch in the future.
