Description of Approved Cable Luggage Re Settable Combination Travel Accessories

MOST DURABLE TSA RECOGNIZED AND ACCEPTED LOCK. Forge locks are designed from the ground up to be the toughest luggage locks around. Our special alloy lock bodies, tightly braided and sheathed steel cables, hardened steel cable lock ends as well as patented internal mechanisms can take such a pounding that we back our product up with an unconditional lifetime guarantee. If you can find a way to break these locks, we’ll gladly refund or replace them. EASY TO SET 3 DIGIT COMBINATION. Our combination locks have an easy to use lever mechanism to set the combination. Simply set the locks to the factory default combination of 0-0-0, flip the lever with a pen and enter your personal combination. The combination can also be changed as many times as you like. Never worry about accidently changing your lock to the wrong combination or your combination being changed during rough handling. SECURITY WITH THE FLEXIBILITY OF A CABLE LOCK. Cable locks can handle situations that normal lock shackles simply can’t. Our lock’s cable is thin enough to thread through all standard sized zippers and hard case lock holes but strong enough to protect your belongings. At a length of 4 in from end to end and an internal looped length of 1.5 in when locked, our cable offers the flexibility to secure nearly any suitcase, hard case, gun case, etc. on the market. ALWAYS RELOCKED, ALWAYS PROTECTED. Most TSA locks on the market do not need to be re-locked by a TSA agent after their inspection is completed. With our TSA luggage lock, the agent has to re-lock your suitcase to remove their key. With Forge you never worry about your suitcase locks being left open again. MANY USES WITH LOTS OF VARIETY. Forge travel locks can be used on a wide variety of items besides suitcases or luggage. These locks can be used on a briefcase, gym locker, purse, backpack or laptop bag.

Melts and breaks, don't buy

Pros: Easy to set up, inexpensive, TSA approved Cons: 1) A lock was missing somewhere between our flight between San Antonio and Houston. We spoke to Tsa people and they claimed that those cheap locks get stuck and break all the time. 2) When we reached Delhi, India, our lock literally started to melt and snap on the wire (see image). The dials bind and no longer turn completely. We were concerned that we would have to pick the lock but luckily our combination was still inside the corner. 3) A…

Too easy to pick with a screwdriver (hardly safe for personal use)

Of the four locks, only one (grey) could withstand a simple "flat head screwdriver" turn. through the keyhole" to unlock it. Ideally, that shouldn't happen - none of the other TSA-approved locks I own can be turned with a simple flathead screwdriver to open the keyhole. Installing the new keycode was quite a hassle simple and the overall look of the locks is good. The only (and main) issue I have is that the three don't actually 'lock' anything - even with a personalized key code anyone can…

AVOID EVERY PRICE - Luggage and Travel Gear

Bought these for my daughter when she was traveling to Europe for a study semester abroad - loved the feature that told us if security opened her bag - followed the instructions to the letter and set both locks to the same combination - when she was in Europe arrived found that she could not open one of the locks. Whatever she did or tried - it prevented her from opening her suitcase for the first 24 hours of the trip - she was unable to access her personal belongings, toiletries, etc. After…

Great locks for on the go!

I took these locks on a trip to China. After reading about people challenging backpacks I thought these locks would be a good idea. They fit perfectly through my backpack's zippers and match my black backpack. The cable actually allowed me to thread it through the few zippers that there were. I received many additions about castles from other travelers. This saved me from carrying my backpack in front of me like many other locals and travelers do. I felt more confident walking in busy tourist…

They work great as a deterrent!

I used these locks on a month trip to Africa and never had a problem with them. They feel solid, they've always closed/opened with no issues, and the TSA has never clipped my pockets. Some people here are frustrated with the ability to "feel" the combo, but I have to say I couldn't really do it. I tried for a while when I first got them but to no avail. Anyway, I think these people have unrealistic expectations of these locks. I put them on top of my trunks, not to build a mobile fortress for…
