1/2 roll was not sticky, avoid this.

1/2 roll was not sticky, avoid this. Took a full 50ft, expensive but Eterna Bond is usually great. I'm not sure if it's fake or just a bad batch. Contacted seller, no response. So I'm leaving a review. Paid for 50 feet could only use 25 feet - sable.

Used on Motorhome - Sealant

We've gotten this before. This is the tape you carefully laid out. If it sticks to itself, discard it. The thickness of the rubber backing will not stretch and will not loosen. I sealed the old camper and now the new one. Follow the directions to the letter and that's great. Clean up the area!

Pros
  • Comfortable to use
Cons
  • Protection

Can't recommend the product sorry I wasted my time and money

I've heard great reviews, I was meticulous in the preparation and focused on putting pressure on the seals that are required for proper functioning. It took 3 days and 3 rolls of tape. Went to the roof on day 4 of course after a downpour and found many areas had been lifted and filled with water.

  • Only available in black

Seal your RV roof with this and you won't regret it

I have never had an RV roof leak using this tape. I can't say enough about how well this works on RV roof seams and around roof vents. Just make sure to line it up exactly where you want it because once it falls, it gets stuck forever and it's not fun to remove.

Pros
  • One year trial
Cons
  • Minor issues

Absolute Confidence: Cleaning and Maintenance

Bought a 1990's caravan with previous leaks and dry rot. The dealer said it was sealed well now, but I had to make sure. Eternabond was recommended to me by an experienced classic car restorer and although it was more expensive than other brands I took his recommendation. Lots of online videos to use. I figured out how to go and it looks great. Now I'm sure the trailer won't leak!

Use a roller, it sticks!

First time using this thing and it's awesome! The razor blade makes it easier to remove the protective strip. I removed the radio antenna from my RV because I no longer use it, sealed the 1 1/2" hole with no problem, taped the edges, and all is good. Have sat outside in -0 degrees all winter and it's still the same as the day I put it on. Be sure to use a roller until the sealant starts to ooze out around the edges.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Speed

Amazing tape for sealing leaks and weak spots in RV roofs

I have used this tape to repair roof skin tears on a 25 year old RV roof and it is amazing. Every surface must first be cleaned. applied and you really need a metal or wooden roller to get it to stick properly. Also read and follow the instructions for removing the protective film. It's MUCH harder than you think, but once you know the secret, things go fast.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Requires pickup

Durability both outside and inside.

The vinyl look of this product is nothing short of amazing compared to other sealing tape I have used. well, no comparison. EternaBond holds up in the sun year after year, unlike the wannabe alternatives I've seen crumble and fall apart in just two years. The application of EternaBond requires some practice and skill, but the properties of this sealing tape guarantee a quality repair and a long service life. EternaBond fan Larry Pate

Caravan Roof Repair

I recommend anyone who owns a caravan to purchase this product. I've been using this to mend roof seams since I got the pop up. Now I have a big caravan. I sealed all the factory seams on my rubber roof. This stuff is discontinued and forgotten. Take your time applying and always remember to clean your area with rubbing alcohol or a safe product for your roof. I can't say enough good things about this maintenance free repair product. I use it instead of sealant. Lap sealer needs to be applied…

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Unsafe
