Entirely made of aluminium, excellent shape.

Large inlet and outlet with more port space for smoother/better flow. Injector Dynamics uses huge filters with correct micron values. SIGNIFICANTLY cheaper than most racing brand fuel filter options while still meeting the flow and micron requirements. Five microns with appropriate filter. But big (with filter).

Aluminum threads on aluminum filter housing not good for Cat 1r0750

I bought this and a Cat 2 micron filter. But I figured it wasn't compatible with this filter as the aluminum rubs on aluminum in the fuel and the two stick and destroy the bottom of the filter and you can't separate them so they can be thrown away. Some say apply anti-seize lube yes sure you want to get sand through your nozzles? I ordered Wix 24770 which has a metal thread in the center and is non-irritating and does not require ORB fittings. You have to go to a hydraulic store to buy it. And…

Nice, works but not exactly as described.

Filter head arrived quickly and looks exactly like the photos. Designation. It was pita to find out after I bought all my fittings and the rest of my accessories to stick in my portable fuel tank. Everything else is 3/4 inch except for my filter head. Good is the 14-1 nipple and the 2 micron Cat 1R-750 fits just as I expected. The base is solid enough that I don't have to worry about tearing due to the added weight of not installing it through the tabs/bolt holes. Would I buy it again? No, and…

To avoid confusion. but it's not 1/2 " NPT. It's 5/8 " ORB.

Just bought 6 of these for our boat. I was expecting 1/2" NPT but it's not. I haven't really figured out what the thread is yet, I just know nothing will fit in Home Depot. 1/2" NPT is very loose and does not tighten. . I think I'll go to Napa or somewhere else to try and find out. PITA safe as all fittings were already purchased with 1/2" NPT threads. UPDATE: The NAPA guy identified it as a 5/8 in. ORB (O-ring). So head to the hydraulic store for adapters too A hydraulic engineer confirmed the
