Review on Fleetguard Head Fuel Filter Part by David Naranjo

I bought this and a Cat 2 micron filter. But I figured it wasn't compatible with this filter as the aluminum rubs on aluminum in the fuel and the two stick and destroy the bottom of the filter and you can't separate them so they can be thrown away. Some say apply anti-seize lube yes sure you want to get sand through your nozzles? I ordered Wix 24770 which has a metal thread in the center and is non-irritating and does not require ORB fittings. You have to go to a hydraulic store to buy it. And there is no need to create a support bracket as it is built into Wix 24770.
