Type of review

Depending on your needs this could be ideal. Nice and shiny compared to the powder coating on other stones I've bought and returned. I liked them but my project calls for flat sea glass and those were rocks so I went back. I recommend for filling vases with planters on earth with very glassy limestone.

Pros
  • Vase filler for fresh or artificial arrangements
Cons
  • Nothing here

Shard Jar Vase Filler

I don't know how it got such good reviews and I wonder if people have actually seen Strandglas before because they didn't back then. It's literally a pitcher with a broken glass. Of course the edges are sanded a bit (not at all) but if I were to use this in a craft project it would literally look like I just broke glass for this, it doesn't look like the sea at all except for the color. So if for some reason you need broken glass waste and don't want to make a mess, this is for you. If not…

Pros
  • Mixed Blue, Green and Clear Colors
Cons
  • Too Dumb

Not real sea glass more like broken glass

I have read all the reviews but I found it hard to believe that the product was really just broken glass - let me tell you that these reviews are absolutely were true. I didn't find the edges very sharp and used them to cover the topsoil of potted plants. So, for these purposes, and found. However, it lacks the inherent beauty of sea glass and actually looks like broken glass from used bottles. For the price, of course, I got what I paid for. However, if you are looking for a real soft sea…

Good price product

To be honest I didn't even read the reviews before buying this item but I did after I received it! The point is, you get what you pay for. My container had no sharp edges, nice big pieces of colored glass sea glass - yes, it doesn't look like real sea glass, but what do you expect for $6.59? The colors are exactly what I expected and it works great for the craft I'm using it for. If you're talking real sea glass, Revain might not be the place for you! I'm just saying.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Requires power outlet

No sea glass just broken glass

I have bought sea glass before and seen where the sharp edges have been smoothed over with water. I bought this product to make a makeup brush stand. I ended up replacing that pack of sea glass with the ones I already had, concerned that small pieces of glass would get stuck to the reversible brush or just the brush handle. Glass, rather than being smooth, looks like pebbles (like my previous purchases from Michael) are jagged shards of glass. Be careful how you use them and what you choose to…

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • thin
