Olson FB10493DB 0 025 2 Inch Blade Review

These 3/16 inch saw blades are needed to make band saw boxes on a 14 inch band saw. So far I've cut bubinga, zebra, red oak, white oak, birch and pine and the blade has worked well. I cut 6" x 4" x 3" solid work and these Olsen blades go through and cut curves with ease. Will definitely be ordering again in the future.

The best bandsaw blade I have used in a long time. This thing cut through very dense dried white oak like butter. Leaves no burn marks and makes sharp cuts with ease. Brand new out of the box - I have had no issues and would buy again in a heartbeat. As for durability, time will tell, but for the money this is good value at the moment.

Bought this blade for my shop Fox 14 inch band saw blade to make tighter turns in thin wood. The blade is of good quality, no defects. It is very smooth and doesn't require any special modifications like sanding thick edges etc. With this blade there is no vibration and it cuts very smoothly. No complaints. And the price is great too.

Bought for a project. I'm making a band saw box and this is great for that. Haven't used it for anything else but so far it seems to cut very well although it leaves more bandsaw marks than a Timberwolf blade but that's no big deal. The weld holds up pretty well even when I bend the blade at tight angles with my project detail. I will most likely buy again.

I have used Olsen blades on my old Delta bandsaw with good results. Can't beat the price. But I've been making bandsaw boxes and 2 3/16 blades broke the second time I used them. pain in the buttocks. They are sharp but cut unevenly. way to hike. The collapse is the biggest shortcoming for me. I set up the saw per their recommendations, so I don't think it's me or my gear related. I'll try more expensive blades and see if they're worth it.
