🧳 RDEXP Flexible Replacement Suitcase Luggage: Durable and Versatile Travel Companion Review

I was about to throw away my huge suitcase when the top handle broke but the skyscraper told me I could buy another one. So I tried this one. I like it! The second holes on each side didn't quite line up, so I had to drill two new ones (yes, through a metal plate!), but it was easy enough with the right bit. I've used the case once since installing the new handle and it seems very sturdy and good quality. I bet the case wears out before the handle changes!

Strap and attachment concept is great. Only issue (4 vs. 5 stars): The screws were too long for my application. The cap I have is about 1/ 8". I had to go to a hardware store to buy metric screws that were 1/4" shorter. I think if I overtightened the supplied screws I would have stripped the threads in the grip body. I would like more 50 cents spent at the time of purchase, then the project has to be canceled in the middle to go to the hardware store.

Long story short I used this on a Kirkland spinner which was great except for the disconnect handle. Go all out and use new hardware, but one of the screws wouldn't be tightened all the way, and when I tried to unscrew it, the screw broke. So I threw away the new mounting hardware and used the original metal hardware with the case, drilled new holes and all is good. The screws provided will fit cases 12mm to 13mm thick. I install them on the trunk of an old steamboat. It's probably only 3mm thick so I'll need to find MUCH shorter screws before proceeding. I ended up using M4 x 10mm which was barely long enough to use one of the washers that came with the handles on each screw, 12mm would probably be the optimal size. Very happy with this handle. The brackets that hold the case's handle are metal and appear to be quite strong. Much stronger than the original plastic struts which broke on the first ride. This handle is padded on the bottom. I measured the holes for the bracket and found this handle. I was able to use the original holes. Perfect replacement for the handles on my navy blue Ricardo Beverly Hills (RBH) luggage set that I bought from Costco in 2014 . They are exactly the same size and fit. (You can find your RBH suitcase style on the t-shirt tag sewn into the suitcase liner.) The only difference is that the original RBH style was brushed nickel while these are chrome plated. It's not a big visual difference. The only issue I expect is that the design and durability are the same. I expect these pins will fail in 2-3
