Sensory Dream best in my review

If you are looking at one of these then your child probably has a different equation than others. If you are a parent of a child where this would be helpful, I want to encourage you with this product. More than just the sensory sock, I want to encourage you as a parent. Being a parent is fantastic and it’s the greatest thing in the world. Being a parent with a kid that might need something like this means that you are doing your best to set your child up for success. Your work and your labor as

Pros
  • We love this so much!
Cons
  • Soft and flexable.

7 yr old LOVES his in my review

I had purchased one a year or more ago for my older grandson and it has really lasted.I realized that his younger brother would probably like one.Just as big brother, this is worn around, carried around, slept in, played in and is holding up quite well. The 7 yr old has name his "Squeegee" because it squeezes him (yeah, no point in trying to correct him as he declared it was his and he could name it what he wanted and he wanted Squeegee. lol

Pros
  • My kid loves it. Keeps him calm and fulfill that need of being hold tight
Cons
  • Way way way too big if going by size chart

Doesn't stretch as pictured for arms.

Where do the arms go? This item does NOT stretch as pictured! Arms must be kept at one's side? Are all the versions as "off"? Guess I'll have to send it back.

Pros
  • Purchased for my granddaughter. She uses this daily. 5 STARS.Highly recommend this.
Cons
  • Not ideal for children who may outgrow it quickly

Good for sensory processing disorder or play.

We got one for each of our kids. They enjoy them. We use them to help with sensory overstimulation. They give the kids a safe place to calm down. They are soft and durable. Definitely a life saver. They even use them for play.

Pros
  • My sensory seeker son loves it!
Cons
  • May not be durable enough for frequent use

Pay attention to sizing

My boys love the sensory socks they use at occupational therapy and have been begging to get some for home. This sock, however, runs very big and we've had to return it. My oldest is a tall 8 year old and is in the middle of the height range listed, but this sock was so large it provided no deep pressure sensory input. The fabric was a nice quality and it seems well made, so we will order a smaller size to try.

Pros
  • My son wears a size 6/7 in clothes... I will get a small next time
Cons
  • Only comes in one color option

Make sure that your child would use it before purchasing.

The materials and workmanship for this product are just fine, but it's a lot of money to spend on something before knowing if the person that you're buying it for will use it. I bought it for a woman who does some respite care. So far, none of her charges have used it other than for stimming from the fabric (which is fine). I might not have bought it until I made sure that it would be used. This, again, has nothing to do with the quality or general design of this fine product.

Pros
  • The sack is wonderful for sensory seekers.
Cons
  • May be too stimulating for individuals with sensory processing disorders

This sensory body sock is a great cocoon to retreat to.

I often get overwhelmed as I have sensory issues as part of ASD. When I need to calm myself down from the world around me I climb inside this sensory sock. I stretch out to feel the resistance of the sock push back onto my body. After a few minutes I curl myself up pulling the sensory sock tight around me letting the sensory sock comfort me inside to keep me safe.It is well made, I have been stretching inside it with no issues on the seams ripping apart.i most definitely will recommend this for

Cocoon fun in my review

My kids love this thing. The only thing I’m not pleased with is the way it closes.it’s a pretty big gap across the top and doesn’t fully "close” The kids don’t seem to care, but it annoys me.

Pros
  • Very good product. Item was described perfectly and was shipped quickly.
Cons
  • Not effective for individuals with certain sensory processing disorders, such as those who crave deep pressure

Does it’s job good for me

So far so goodMy child is 130lbs and 5’ 7” and it fit with room.Exactly what she wanted.Fabric feels nice and thick but not thick, material seems soft

Pros
  • My son ASD son loves this!! We maybe could have sized down but now there is room to grow!
Cons
  • Can be expensive compared to other sensory products on the market

sizing is way off: my feedback

I don't know if this product would have worked with my anxiety ridden 6 year old since the product that came to me was overwhelmingly big, although I did follow the directions on sizing to a T! My daughter was swimming in the ridiculous potato sack and there was no way for her to get any benefit from it, so off it went back to Revain-4 months ago and still no money back.WTH?

Pros
  • Exceeds expectations. Not too thin, durable.
Cons
  • Can be challenging to use in a therapeutic setting

Super calming effect, super durable!

Absolutely a must have for sensory seeking kiddos. Super stretchy, we purchased two, one for our 11 year old and the other for our 4 year old. This product is very durable, our 11 year old is pretty hard on his and haven't had any issues.

Pros
  • Un poco grande a las talla pero no me afectó gracias
Cons
  • Can be uncomfortable for those with sensory aversions to tight-fitting clothing

Nice but runs big. - my new review

After reading the reviews I went ahead and ordered a size smaller but it was still too big for my child. It’s a great product but runs really big. My son is 9yrs old, 80lbs and the medium is too big for him.

Pros
  • This really helps my daughter
Cons
  • Can be challenging to use with children who have behavioral concerns

Freaking amazing in my review

All three of my children have various sensory issues. My girls are very minor and can usually be worked around but my son runs fill tilt in to walls, furniture, people, and animals without so much as a second thought. We have done and continue to do superman arms and wall pushes but this has probably been the single best investment I have ever made for him. He will spend all day in it if needed and if not it stays in his sensory bin. I bought one for all three and I don't regret it at all.

Pros
  • My son loves this! He sleeps in it every night.
Cons
  • Could potentially create pressure points or discomfort in certain areas of the body

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Works great if you get the right size

Too big for my 48” daughter, but perfect for my 57” daughter. No weird smell like the older snap model, but this one runs bigger than that model so sizing seems inaccurate. Works great for my sensory kiddo and seems durable and well made.

Pros
  • Got this for my 5 year old and he loves it
Cons
  • Maybe good for some. But the fabric is uncomfortable for my son. Will be returning

Excellent quality sensory sock

I’ve got two boys with ASD and some sensory issues. Purchased these since they were pulling their arms and legs and head into their shirts somewhat regularly (mindlessly like they weren’t aware they were doing it) and I put it together they were probably sensory seeking so got these for some quiet, chill and screen time. Very well made, great stitching, high quality material with good tensile stretch.

Pros
  • Ran a little big but still works great! Made well and helps my son tremendously!
Cons
  • Can be difficult to store due to its size

Great gift best in my review

Bought as gift for a child and they loved it. As they are autistic this body sock gives them comfort and makes them feel safe. Sock itself is this but seems durable as it stretches.

Pros
  • This is just what our sensory child needed. It is well loved and easy to use. A huge hit!
Cons
  • May not provide enough proprioceptive input for some individuals

So Perfect! - my new review

I ordered this because I saw my 9yr old trying to wrap himself up in his blanket like a burrito. He absolutely loves it. Oh and I couldn't help but laughing cause he looks so funny. The material is so soft and very stretchy.

Pros
  • Love this product.
Cons
  • Difficult to put on without assistance

Great for homework good for me

My sensory seeker loves this. He wears it while doing homework and it helps a lot for focus and calming. It’s held up and he’s pretty rough on stuff. He sometimes sleeps in it if he’s having a hard time relaxing. He also uses it if he’s had a long day or to help him calm. Definitely recommended. Love that it doesn’t have buttons/Velcro etc. it’s comfortable and effective.

Pros
  • My son loves it. I should have got a size small!
Cons
  • Not suitable for outdoor use

Sizing is an issue good for me

I read the reviews before purchasing. People said they ran a little large. I chose the medium for my 7 year old son. He is good sized for his age. I followed the recommendations and review comments and still it was too big! Will be returning for a small.

Pros
  • My son loves the sensory sock! Perfect for his ASD needs
Cons
  • Might feel restrictive for those who prefer more movement during sensory play

Excellent product for sensory seekers

This is the second sensory sock I’ve purchased for my kid. He’s a sensory seeker and loves this. I highly recommend this product. I wish it was big enough for me!

Pros
  • I use this for my sons sensory exercises. He loves using it for his exercises. It’s very easy to clean.
Cons
  • Difficult to wash and maintain
