Failed for the simplest of reasons

Only 1 out of 3 worked as expected. The teeth should bite into the drywall paper, but even that failed on one of my attempts. I stuck it into the drywall and tried to tighten it but it started twisting the entire anchor and ripping the drywall. I've had two failures this way, and if that's the case, all you can do is pull it out. You can't start over. Now all you have is a hole in the wall. The other one that failed I fully tightened, but as soon as I started backing out the screw it got stuck…

Good product! - Latches

That saved my nerves! I was trying to hang rods for my new curtains and pulled the screws that came with the rods out of the wall. I was annoyed! I researched on You Tube and found I needed molly screws and finally found them for plating. They are actually intended for drywall, but matched my trim perfectly. I just screwed up one of them! They are easy to use and work great. I'm a widow and although I've always done things around the house myself unless it was too hard or heavy, I NEVER knew…

These drywall screws are a terrible design. The screw thread is nailed to the end that goes into the wall just behind the yellow piece. Because they are loose and not a solid piece, the threads in the wall will snap if you apply ANY force (e.g. the force required to engage the Phillips head). If you're lucky, the threads will snap before your teeth open, and all you have to do is pull them out and try again. If you're unlucky (like me) the threads snap after meshing.
