Color not as stated.

I wanted to use this vinyl to restore my old dashboard. I ordered this color based on the photo in the ad. What came is much lighter as you can see in my photo. Also, the wood texture is going in the wrong direction. Looks like I wasted $11. :(

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Nothing

It's a good wrapper, but not perfect.

This bandage is heavier than average, indicating its durability. The color and texture look like real wood from more than a few inches away. It doesn't stretch very well around corners so I wouldn't recommend it where required. Even on flat surfaces, use moderate heat from a hair dryer to warm it up while applying, which makes the job that much easier. One complaint is that it was simply packaged in a plastic envelope and got a little wrinkled in transit. It really should be in a cardboardโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Inspires Confidence
Cons
  • Not Sure

I bought this paper to redesign the first consumer digital scale made by Heathkit around 1985. I took off the old vinyl, stripped off the old paint and repainted the Rust-Oleum. I put on VVIVID Oak Vinyl and the scales look brand new. Vinyl looks stunning and is easy to work with. There were no instructions included with the VVIVI vinyl. I watched a few videos on YouTube and got it. All I did was clean the new surface with acetone and 91% alcohol. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars isโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Hands-free operation
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

Very easy to use but wrong color

I bought this to repair the faceplate of an antique (1960's) Zenith radio - the wood material was peeling from the plastic faceplate. I bought two colors of VViVid wood grain contact paper to try and get a close match. The good news is that it is very easy to work with - I cut it out with a utility knife and ruler, peeled off the backing paper and pressed down - it was very easy! The hardest part of the whole deal was cleaning up the old contact paper and glue. I would give it 5 stars exceptโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Trial version for one year
Cons
  • I won't say anything
