The upgrade is still going on but am skeptical on its availability
Providing Crosschain capabilities for the exchange of token based on EOS and Ethereum was the groundwork base for the creation of Dex Top. The exchange had a lot of significance in the market by leveraging the abilities it provided it's traders to exchange tokens at a low 0.2% for every trade executed by the Taker yet giving the traders total control of their funds. The exchange made headlines though today, the exchange seems to be placed on an upgrade which is taking forever to complete. I have even went through it's social media accounts on WeChat to see if there is any updates or interaction among it's community to see if there is any work going on in the background but both were useless.
I have seen the rise of many Crosschain Decentralised exchange built for different chains even beyond the scope of what Dex Top offered so am not sure it will be of any significance again. Long term users and lovers of this exchange might still wait though am not sure if it will
Pros
- A great platform to exchange Crosschain
- There is a probability that the exchange will come back online
Cons
- Its upgrade which was meant to end last year May hasn't even been completed
- With the Amount of time gone through for the upgrade, it's safe for me to say that the decentralised exchange is somewhat dead
- It's WeChat accounts doesn't get any response for the past days
