HitBTC is a large cryptocurrency exchange with a huge daily trade volume. It was founded in 2013 in Hong Kong although I started trading on HitBTC only in 2018. To date, I keep on exploring the good and bad sides of this exchange. In general, HitBTC is the most satisfying exchange platform that I've tried.
Pros
- HitBTC has high liquidity, it charges fewer fees if you post maker orders. Security-wise the exchange is quite decent plus it has a mechanism to prevent losses in trading.
Cons
- The support team is disappearing for long periods of time. Happily, they come back, but, you can agree, that's annoying. You can't sell or buy fiat currencies on HitBTC.
