This is a very good exchange. I can recommend it to both beginners and experienced users. The exchange has existed for a long time, it is popular and as a whole has almost no problems.

Pros
  • This exchange is one of the largest crypto currency markets. It is widely heard. Even beginners in crypto currency have heard about it and are using it. Trading volumes are impressive. The number of currency pairs is also quite large.
Cons
  • Because of the huge number of users, support is not always answered right away. Also, not always transactions pass quickly, sometimes you have to wait a long time.

  • This is one of the best exchanges. This can be seen even by the volume of trading. I can say that I never had any problems with withdrawal, with technical support, or with trade. Excellent exchange!
Cons

Im using Poloniex a lot to lend bitcoin to traders, this always worked perfectly for me. Both signup and verification were very fast back then, funding my account as well. Also the API is working great and withdrawals are fast, but a bit expensive. Never really in contact with the customer support, so cant give a rating there.

As one of the pioneer of cryptocurrency exchange and pace setter / first to allow margin trading and lending on there site,the site has been breaking barriers and creating milestones. Though of recent ,they've allowed other new exchanges to overtake them.They need to fix there shit and take there rightful spot as the go to exchange in the cryptocurrency community

Though,the fortunes of poloniex in terms of trading volume has been on a steady fall from it's highest has Number 1 by trading volume and currently sitting on 48th by volume. The exchange is still one to be reckoned with and respected.They have the most unique and modern UI that've seen compared to other exchanges.

Poloniex is not serious about their communication. It’s been several weeks I make a huge amount deposit and I still haven’t got any amswer on the many tickes I made. No reaction and a huge amount is lost somewhere. I read this is a common issue on poloniex, and their lack of response makes it a very insecure platform to use.
