My first interaction with the PoloniDex platform today was a bit rewarding as the Trons it burns for making trades is very minimal while compared to making use of its contemporary; JustSwap. The exchange really looks almost exactly as a centralized exchange showing the order books and chart for token price. Many of the tokens hoisted on the exchange though have no volume and their price differs very well with the normal exchange rates on other exchanges. Its 24 hour trading volume today didn't even exceed $100,000. I personally was expecting more from an exchange that is affiliated with Poloniex which is one of the major centralized exchange today but it's low volume indicates low adoption for the use of Tron and it's tokens.
Using a Dapp browser to access the exchange platform doesn't require any hard pulling in order to connect my wallet to the exchange as all my tokens details will be shown and trading can start immediately. Being a Decentralized Exchange, just like many others, users only pay fees for energy used in making their transactions. In a more broad sense, if PoloniDex is widely adopted for use in trading all major TRC tokens and Tron coins, will wipe out the need for traders to pay trade fees as long as frozen Trons are sufficient to provide enough energy to make this Transactions
Much could still be expected of this exchange as it's price ticker for tokens is what is used my TronLink (a major Tron wallet) to track token price. When looking to eliminate trade fees and withdrawal fees while interacting with Tron and it's underlying, PoloniDex is a sure bet for use
