Terrible sound quality. I had to move

I'm not sure if I received a defective product but one of the two channels on the 3.5mm plug doesn't seem to be working. Right out of the box I had to wiggle it in an outlet to get decent sound. Otherwise a lot of noise. This is my third adapter of this type. They wear out quickly but this one was ruined immediately. You can switch to Bluetooth. It's more expensive, but as they say, pennies a pound is dumber.
