The conversion kit is easy to assemble. The installation only took a few minutes. Excellent reception. Very flexible so it shouldn't break in a car wash. I had the original old fashioned antenna which I forgot to remove in the wash and broke. If you go to a car wash and prefer to take it off, it will be very easy to take it off. My beautiful Lexus looks updated and I am very pleased. To install: simply remove the nut. and then follow these instructions which I will post from another satisfied customer. * You need someone to help you with step 2. You can carry out the remaining steps yourself. Installation Guide; Step 1 Loosen the antenna nut. Step 2. Your assistant sits in the car and with the key in the ignition switch position "LOCK" presses the "AM" and "DISC" buttons on the radio and at the same time turns the ignition key to the "ACC" position. The radio will then display "ANT” on the "LCD” and the antenna mast will extend exposing the cable. The assistant can now release the AM and DISC buttons. The conversion kit consists of two parts: a base and a rubber antenna. Step 3: You will hear the engine running. Then unplug the antenna and cable. Step 4 Insert the bass into the hole. Step 5. Screw back the nut. Step 6 Screw on the antenna. Ready! Enjoy your new antenna
